What are you most proud of professionally?

I am proud of the work we’re doing at Calvert Foundation – using market-driven methods hitherto reserved for public enterprises to help in changing communities.

What is something you would like to see happen in the next 10 years?

I would like to see technology (solar, medical, etc) be more fully utilized to improve life in poor communities and less developed countries.

What quality is most important to you in a friend?

Loyalty. It’s always reassuring to know that I can count on a friend who will not waver during difficult times - that person earns my trust.

If you had to start all over again and choose a different career path, what would it be?

Medicine – since it would afford me the opportunity to bring relief and joy to people who are hurting.
