What/who inspires you?
People who have a passion inspire me. It doesn’t matter if the passion is cooking, skateboarding or saving the world. It helps me feel like anything can be possible for those with determination. http://video.stumbleupon.com/#p=p73ps0u34i
Where is the most interesting place you have ever been?
I think that any place can be interesting if you take time to look below the surface. A few years ago, my family had occasion to travel to Iona, Scotland. Iona is a tiny island off of Scotland’s West Coast. On its face it is only a 3 mile long island with a couple of stores, a church and lots of sheep. If you dig deeper, you discover that it was central to the development of Christianity in Scotland, England and much of mainland Europe. Today, it is home to a worldwide ecumenical community whose members are committed to peace and social justice.
What quality is most important to you in a friend?
I have two qualities that I look for above all else – loyalty and a positive world outlook. Everything else is negotiable.
